This list is a gift. I came for a look and left with a handful of new subscriptions, which I suspect is exactly how it's supposed to work. Thank you for the years of care behind it.

I wonder if people actually use it to find other publications to subscribe/follow.

It's a good question, I know I wouldn't like to be left out, think other folk the same. You've now got me wondering how I could use it better.

Also, how I can promote it more, so that people, readers and food writers, get the best possible use out of it.

My Substack publication doesn't feature my food writing (as a journalist, author and publisher). I have two: (1) 'Five Weddings and a Funeral', about my life of lovers and husbands, and, (2) The Cookbook Writers Guide. Could i possibly add my second one to your list please?
